Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies we use on this website, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: 18 July 2026

First-time visitors see a cookie notice. You can accept optional analytics cookies, use necessary cookies only, or open detailed settings at any time.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They help websites remember preferences, keep sessions secure and understand how pages are used.

2. How we use cookies

On internetremovals.com we use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep essential site features working (necessary);
  • remember your cookie preferences;
  • measure aggregated traffic and journey events if you opt in to analytics.

We do not use optional advertising cookies to sell your personal information. For how personal data is handled more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

3. Cookie categories

Necessary. Required for the website to function. These include storing your cookie consent choice and supporting security or load balancing where applicable. They cannot be switched off through our banner.

Analytics (optional). Help us understand which pages and flows are useful (for example Get Help funnel steps) so we can improve the site. These run only if you accept analytics cookies. Analytics events are designed to avoid collecting enquiry free text, names, emails, phone numbers, URLs or evidence details.

Marketing cookies. Not currently enabled on this site. If we introduce them later, they will appear as a separate optional category in Cookie settings and will require consent where required by law.

4. Examples

  • ir_cookie_consent (local storage) — stores your cookie preference version and whether analytics is allowed.
  • Theme / UI preferences — may use local storage so the site remembers display settings on this device.
  • Analytics providers — only loaded after consent; provider names and cookie lists will be updated here when analytics is enabled in production.

5. Managing and opting out

You can manage cookies in three ways:

  • Use Cookie settings on this page or in the site footer to change your choice at any time.
  • Choose Necessary only on the first-visit banner to opt out of optional analytics cookies.
  • Control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect site functionality.

Withdrawing analytics consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or providers change. Check the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
